1712 - Muhammad ibn 'Ali informed us that Ya'qub ibn Bukhtan related to them that a man said to Abu 'Abd Allah: 'What do you say regarding a man from the Jahmiyyah who dies and none of his companions are present; should we bury him?' He said to me: "The least that can be said is this: I hope you are not tested with this." Then he said: "It reached me that some... from that a man among them was beheaded, and they threw him into it (a pit), and he was not prayed over."
