تفسير القرآن العزيز لابن أبي زمنين
مجلد 1 · صفحة 298

الترجمة · EN

Muhammad said: The meaning is: And there has not yet befallen you the like of that which befell those who passed on before you; and this is what Yahya intended. "Poverty and hardship touched them" (Al-ba'sa'): Misery; and (Al-darra'): illness and wounds. "And they were shaken" (wa zulzilu): Intensity befell them, "until the Messenger and those who believed with him said, 'When is the help of Allah?'" Muhammad said: Whoever reads "hatta yaqulu" (until he says) with the nominative (rafa') - the meaning is: until the Messenger said. And whoever reads it with the accusative (nasb) - it is in the sense of: until the help of Allah becomes (the subject) of the Messenger's speech.

Allah says: "Verily, the help of Allah is near." Al-Hasan said: That is because Allah promised them victory and triumph, but they deemed its arrival slow due to the intensity that reached them. So Allah informed the Prophet, peace be upon him, and the believers that whomever from the Prophets and believers who passed on before you, when the tribulation reached this point for them, My help was hastened for them. Thus, when you are also tested with that, then receive glad tidings, for My help is near.
