"Then if he divorces her, there is no blame upon them both that they return to each other, if they think that they will maintain the limits of Allah." He means: if they are certain that they will maintain the limits of Allah. In the exegesis of some of them: He says, "Then if he divorces her," meaning the latter husband, "there is no blame upon them both," upon the woman and the first husband who divorced her three times, "that they return to each other," if they wish. And in their interpretation: "Then if he divorces her, or dies and leaves her, there is no blame upon them both that they return to each other." [Verse 231]
