"And if you desire to seek nursing for your children," meaning: for your children, "there is no blame upon you if you give payment what you gave according to what is reasonable." The interpretation of Mujahid: The reckoning of what the child has suckled, when they both agree to seek a nurse for him if they fear neglect for him. [Verse 234]
﴿وَإِنْ أَرَدْتُمْ أَنْ تَسْتَرْضِعُوا أَوْلادَكُمْ﴾ أَي: لأولادكم ﴿فَلا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا سَلَّمْتُمْ مَا آتَيْتُمْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ﴾ تَفْسِير مُجَاهِد: حِسَاب مَا رضع الصَّبِي؛ إِذا تَرَاضيا أَن يسترضعا لَهُ إِذا خافا الضَّيْعَة عَلَيْهِ. [آيَة ٢٣٤]
