"And whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, 'This is what we were provided with before.'" Meaning: in the world, they recognize it by its names, according to the tafsir of Qatadah. "And they are brought things in likeness," Al-Kalbi said: Meaning: similar in appearance, yet different in taste. "And they will have therein purified spouses," from sin and impurity, according to the tafsir of Al-Hasan.
Muhammad said: The people of the Hijaz say regarding a woman: she is the "zawj" (spouse) of the man, while the Banu Tamim say: she is the "zawjah" (wife) of the man.
Yahya narrated from Khalid, from Al-Hasan, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said regarding the women of the people of Paradise: They shall enter it as loving, equal in age; they will not menstruate, they will not give birth, they will not blow their noses, and they will not relieve themselves."
﴿كُلَّمَا رُزِقُوا مِنْهَا مِنْ ثَمَرَةٍ رِزْقًا قَالُوا هَذَا الَّذِي رُزِقْنَا من قبل﴾ أَي: فِي الدُّنيا يعرفونه بأسمائه؛ فِي تَفْسِير قَتَادَة ﴿وَأُتُوا بِهِ متشابها﴾ قَالَ الْكَلْبِيّ: يَعْنِي: متشابها فِي المنظر، مُخْتَلفا فِي الْمطعم ﴿وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا أَزوَاج مطهرة﴾ من الْإِثْم والأذى؛ فِي تَفْسِير الْحسن.
قَالَ مُحَمَّد: أهل الْحجاز يَقُولُونَ للْمَرْأَة: هِيَ زوج الرجل، وَبَنُو تَميم يَقُولُونَ: زَوْجَة الرجل.
يَحْيَى: عَنْ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ: ((قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي نِسَاءِ أهل الْجنَّة: يدخلهَا عُرُبًا أَتْرَابًا، لَا يَحِضْنَ، وَلا يلدن، وَلَا يمتخطن، وَلَا يقضين حَاجَة)). [آيَة ٢٦ - ٢٧]
