"When Jesus sensed disbelief in them," meaning: he perceived it. "He said, 'Who are my helpers in the cause of Allah?'" meaning: with Allah. "The disciples said, 'We are the helpers of Allah.'" And the disciples are the chosen ones of the prophets.
﴿فَلَمَّا أحسن عِيسَى مِنْهُم الْكفْر﴾ أَي: رأى. ﴿قَالَ مَنْ أَنْصَارِي إِلَى الله﴾ أَي: مَعَ الله ﴿قَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحن أنصار الله﴾ والحواريون: هم أصفياء الْأَنْبِيَاء.
