"And they schemed, and Allah schemed," they schemed by attempting to kill Isa (Jesus), and Allah schemed against them by destroying them and raising Isa unto Himself.
﴿ومكروا ومكر الله﴾ مكروا بقتل عِيسَى، ومكر الله بهم فأهلكهم، وَرفع عِيسَى إِلَيْهِ.
