"When Allah said: O Isa, I am taking you [mutawaffika] and raising you to Myself." Al-Suddi said: The meaning of "mutawaffika" is: I am taking you from among the Children of Israel, "and raising you to Myself" into the heaven.

Muhammad said: You say: "tawaffaytu al-'adad" (I collected the number) and "istawfaytuhu"; meaning: I took it in full. "And cleansing you of those who disbelieve, and making those who follow you superior to those who disbelieve" in terms of victory and in terms of proof until the Day of Resurrection. Those who followed him are Muhammad and the people of his religion; they followed the religion of Isa and believed in it.
