"Except for those who repent after that and correct themselves," meaning: those whom Allah intends to guide, "for indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." [Verses 89-90]
﴿إِلا الَّذِينَ تَابُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِك وَأَصْلحُوا﴾ يَعْنِي: من أَرَادَ الله أَن يهديه ﴿فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ﴾ [آيَة ٩٠ - ٩١]
