"And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth" (Quran 3:133). Kurayb, the freedman of Ibn Abbas, said: 'Seven heavens and seven earths, all joined together just as garments are joined one to another, and no one can describe their length.'
﴿وَسَارِعُوا إِلَى مَغْفِرَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وجنة عرضهَا السَّمَاوَات وَالْأَرْض﴾ قَالَ كريب مولى ابْن عَبَّاس: سبع سموات وَسبع أَرضين يلفقن جَمِيعًا كَمَا تلفق الثِّيَاب بَعْضهَا إِلَى بعض، وَلَا يصف أحد طولهَا.
