"Indeed, those of you who turned back on the day the two armies met," interpreted by Qatada, who said: There were people among the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) who turned away from the fighting and from the Prophet of God (peace be upon him) on the day of Uhud, and that was due to the matter of Satan and his frightening them; so God revealed: "And God has already pardoned them..." until the end of the verse. [156 - 159]
