Islam, while they remained upon what they were upon during the [period of] polytheism, and the people of the Pre-Islamic Era (Jahiliyyah) would not grant inheritance to women. [Verse 15-16]
الْإِسْلَام وهم على مَا كَانُوا عَلَيْهِ فِي الشّرك، وَكَانَ أهل الْجَاهِلِيَّة لَا يورثون النِّسَاء. [آيَة ١٥ - ١٦]
