"And the daughters of the sister," for if she is his sister's daughter, or his sister's son's daughter, or his sister's daughter's daughter, and those below them, she is a sister's daughter. "And your mothers who nursed you and your sisters through nursing," whatever is forbidden by lineage is also forbidden by nursing; thus, his mother through nursing is not lawful for him, nor are any maternal ancestors above her. Likewise, his sister through nursing, his paternal aunt through nursing, the paternal aunt of his father through nursing, the paternal aunt of his mother through nursing, and those above them are not lawful. The same applies to a maternal aunt through nursing, the maternal aunt of his father, the maternal aunt of his mother, and those above them. Similarly, his brother's daughter through nursing, his brother's son's daughter through nursing, his brother's daughter's daughter through nursing, and those below them are not lawful, nor are his sister's daughter through nursing, his sister's son's daughter through nursing, his sister's daughter's daughter through nursing, and those below them.
If a woman nurses a boy, that boy may not marry any of her daughters; neither those born with him, nor before that, nor after it, though his brothers may marry her children if they wish. Likewise, if she nurses a girl, none of her children may marry that girl, neither those born before her nursing nor after it, though her brothers may marry her children if they wish.
"And the mothers of your wives," the mother of a man's wife is not lawful for him, nor are her mothers. "And your step-daughters who are under your guardianship, born of your wives unto whom you have entered; but if you have not entered unto them, there is no sin upon you." So, if a man marries a woman and divorces her before having entered unto her, or she dies before he enters unto her, he may marry her daughter if he wishes. However, if he has entered unto her, he may not marry her daughter, nor her daughter's daughter, nor those below them.
﴿وَبَنَات الْأُخْت﴾ فَإِن كَانَت ابْنة أُخْته أَو ابْنة ابْن أُخْته (أَو ابْنة ابْنة أُخْته) وأسفل من ذَلِك - فَهِيَ ابْنة أُخْت. ﴿وَأُمَّهَاتُكُمُ اللَّاتِي أرضعنكم وأخواتكم من الرضَاعَة﴾ يحرم من الرضَاعَة مَا يحرم من النّسَب؛ فَلَا تحل لَهُ أمه من الرضَاعَة وَلَا مَا فَوْقهَا من الْأُمَّهَات، وَلَا أُخْته من الرضَاعَة، وَلَا عمته من الرضَاعَة، وَلَا عمَّة أَبِيه من الرضَاعَة، وَلَا عمَّة أمه من الرضَاعَة، وَلَا مَا فَوق ذَلِك، وَلَا خَالَة من الرضَاعَة، وَلَا خَالَة أَبِيه، وَلَا خَالَة أمه، وَلَا مَا فَوق ذَلِك، وَلَا ابْنة أَخِيه من الرضَاعَة، وَلَا ابْنة ابْن أَخِيه من الرضَاعَة، وَلَا ابْنة ابْنة أَخِيه من الرضَاعَة، وَلَا مَا سفل من ذَلِك، وَلَا ابْنة أُخْته من الرضَاعَة وَلَا ابْنة ابْن أُخْته، (ل ٦٢) وَلَا ابْنة ابْنة أُخْته من الرضَاعَة، وَلَا مَا أَسْفَل من ذَلِك. وَإِذا أرضعت الْمَرْأَة غُلَاما لم يتَزَوَّج ذَلِك الْغُلَام شَيْئا من بناتها؛ لَا مَا قد ولد (مَعَه وَلَا قبل) ذَلِك وَلَا بعده، ويتزوج إخْوَته من أَوْلَادهَا إِن شَاءُوا، وَكَذَلِكَ إِذا أرضعت جَارِيَة لم يتَزَوَّج تِلْكَ الْجَارِيَة أحد من أَوْلَادهَا؛ لَا مَا ولد قبل رضاعها، وَلَا مَا بعده،، يتَزَوَّج إخوتها من أَوْلَادهَا إِن شَاءُوا.
﴿وَأُمَّهَاتُ نِسَائِكُمْ﴾ لَا تحل للرجل أم امْرَأَته، وَلَا أمهاتها. ﴿وَرَبَائِبُكُمُ اللَّاتِي فِي حُجُورِكُمْ مِنْ نِسَائِكُمُ اللَّاتِي دَخَلْتُمْ بِهِنَّ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُونُوا دَخَلْتُمْ بِهن فَلَا جنَاح عَلَيْكُم﴾ فَإِذا تزوج الرجل الْمَرْأَة، فَطلقهَا قبل أَن يدْخل بهَا، أَو مَاتَت وَلم يدْخل بهَا - تزوج ابْنَتهَا إِن شَاءَ، وَإِن كَانَ قد دخل بهَا لم يتَزَوَّج ابْنَتهَا، وَلَا ابْنة ابْنَتهَا، وَلَا مَا أَسْفَل من ذَلِك.
