"Those who are stingy and enjoin upon [other] people stinginess and conceal what God has given them of His bounty." Al-Hasan said: They are the Jews; they withheld the rights of God in their wealth, and they concealed [the truth about] Muhammad, even though they knew that he was the Messenger of God.
