"And We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by the permission of Allah." Mujahid said: It is a duty for messengers to be obeyed, and no one obeys them except by the permission of Allah.
﴿وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ رَسُولٍ إِلا ليطاع بِإِذن الله﴾ قَالَ مُجَاهِد: وَاجِب للرسل أَن يطاعوا، وَلَا يطيعهم أحد إِلَّا بِإِذن الله.
