"God does not like the public utterance of evil, except by one who has been wronged." Qatada said: God has excused the oppressed person to supplicate [against the oppressor]. Mujahid said: It refers to the guest who arrives and dismounts, then says: 'May God do such and such to him, for he did not let me stay as a guest!'
﴿لَا يُحِبُّ اللَّهُ الْجَهْرَ بِالسُّوءِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ إِلا مَنْ ظُلِمَ﴾ قَالَ قَتَادَة: عذر الله الْمَظْلُوم أَن يَدْعُو. وَقَالَ مُجَاهِد: هُوَ الضَّيْف ينزل فيحول رَحْله، فَيَقُول: فعل الله بِهِ، لم ينزلني!
