"qala la ya'tikuma ta'amun turzaqanihi illa nabba'tuma bita'wilihi" (He said: No food that you are provided with will come to you, but I will inform you of its interpretation), meaning its arrival, "qabla an ya'tiyakuma" (before it comes to you), meaning before it comes to you. "dhalikuma mimma 'allamani rabbi" (That is from what my Lord has taught me), meaning by that which Allah makes known to me.
﴿قَالَ لَا يَأْتِيكُمَا طَعَامٌ تُرْزَقَانِهِ إِلَّا نبأتكما بتأويله﴾ أَيْ: بِمَجِيئِهِ ﴿قَبْلَ أَنْ يَأْتِيَكُمَا﴾ أَيْ: مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَكُمَا ﴿ذلكما مِمَّا عَلمنِي رَبِّي﴾ أَيْ: بِمَا يُطْلِعُنِي اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ
