"Ya sahibayi al-sijn amma ahadukuma fayasqi rabbahu khamran wa amma al-akhar fayuslabu fatakul al-tayru min ra'sihi" (O two companions of the prison, as for one of you, he will give his master wine to drink; and as for the other, he will be crucified, and the birds will eat from his head). He said to the King's cupbearer: As for you, you will return to your work. And he said to the baker: As for you, you will be crucified, and the birds will eat from your head.
Al-Kalbi said: When he interpreted the vision for them, the baker said: O Yusuf, I did not see anything! He replied:
﴿يَا صَاحِبَيِ السِّجْنِ أَمَّا أَحَدُكُمَا فَيَسْقِي رَبَّهُ خَمْرًا وَأَمَّا الآخَرُ (ل ١٥٥﴾ فَيُصْلَبُ فَتَأْكُلُ الطَّيْرُ مِنْ رَأْسِهِ﴾ قَالَ لِسَاقِي الْمَلِكِ: أَمَّا أَنْتَ فَترد على عَمَلك. وَقَالَ للخبار: وَأَمَّا أَنْتَ فَتُصْلَبُ فَتَأْكُلُ الطَّيْرُ مِنْ رَأْسِكَ.
