He said: "Did I not tell you that I know from Allah what you do not know?" Al-Hasan said: Meaning, from the relief and favor of Allah, for Allah had informed him that he was alive.
﴿قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُلْ لَكُمْ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَا تعلمُونَ﴾ قَالَ الْحَسَنُ: يَعْنِي: مِنْ فَرَجِ اللَّهِ وَنِعْمَتِهِ، وَكَانَ اللَّهُ قَدْ أخبرهُ أَنه حيٌّ.
