as Allah has taught you.' Mujahid said: 'The animals of prey are from both birds and dogs.'
Muhammad [Ibn Abi Zamanin] said: 'MUKALLIBIN (trained [as handlers of] dogs) is in the accusative case as a state (hal); it is said: a man is MUKALLIB and KALLAB when he is someone who hunts with dogs. The meaning is: And the game of what you have trained is made lawful for you; this is a form of conciseness [since there is within the speech that which] indicates it.'
'And fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is swift in account.' Al-Suddi said: Meaning, as if the reckoning has already come.
علمكُم الله﴾ قَالَ مُجَاهِدٌ: الْجَوَارِحُ هِيَ مِنَ الطَّيْرِ وَالْكِلَابِ.
قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: ﴿مُكَلِّبِينَ﴾ نُصِبَ عَلَى الْحَالِ؛ يُقَالُ: رَجُلٌ مُكَلِّبٌ وَكَلَّابٌ؛ إِذَا كَانَ صَاحِبَ صَيْدٍ بِالْكِلَابِ؛ الْمَعْنَى: وَأُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ مَا عَلَّمْتُمْ؛ وَهَذَا مِنَ الِاخْتِصَارِ [إِذْ كَانَ فِي الْكَلَامِ مَا] يَدُلُّ عَلَيْهِ.
﴿وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِن الله سريع الْحساب﴾ قَالَ السّديّ: (ل ٧٩) يَعْنِي: كَأَنَّهُ قَدْ جَاءَ الْحِسَابُ.
