"And those who disbelieve say, 'You are not a messenger.'"
Say, O Muhammad: "'Sufficient is Allah as a witness between me and you, and whoever has knowledge of the Scripture.'" Abdullah ibn Salam said: "It was revealed concerning me: 'and whoever has knowledge of the Scripture.'"
Muhammad said: "'Say, sufficient is Allah as a witness.'" The meaning is: Allah is sufficient as a witness, and "witness" (shahidan) is in the accusative case (mansub) as a specifier (tamyiz).
