"And We will surely cause you to dwell in the land after them," meaning: after their destruction. "That is for whoever fears My standing," meaning: standing before Allah for the reckoning.

﴿ولنسكننكم الأَرْض من بعدهمْ﴾ أَيْ: مَنْ بَعْدِ إِهْلاكِهِمْ ﴿ذَلِكَ لمن خَافَ مقَامي﴾ يَعْنِي: الْمَقَامَ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ اللَّهِ لِلْحسابِ.
