"And He subjected for you the sun and the moon, constant [in their courses]" meaning: they shall continue to run until the Day of Resurrection. "And He subjected for you the night and the day" alternating for you.
﴿وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ دَائِبَيْنِ﴾ أَيْ: يَجْرِيَانِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ﴿وسخر لكم اللَّيْل وَالنَّهَار﴾ يَخْتَلِفَانِ عَلَيْكُم
