"A small enjoyment," meaning: that which they are in of worldly life is fleeting. "And for them is a painful punishment" in the Hereafter.
﴿مَتَاع قَلِيل﴾ أَيْ: أَنَّ الَّذِي هُمْ فِيهِ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا ذاهبٌ ﴿وَلَهُمْ عذابٌ أَلِيم﴾ ﴿فِي الْآخِرَة
