"Say, is it other than Allah I should take as a protector, the Originator of the heavens and the earth?" meaning: the Creator of both.
"And it is He who feeds and is not fed. Say, indeed I have been commanded to be the first of those who submit," meaning: from his community.
﴿قُلْ أَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيًّا فاطر السَّمَاوَات وَالْأَرْض﴾ يَعْنِي: خَالِقَهُمَا.
﴿وَهُوَ يُطْعِمُ وَلا يُطْعَمُ قُلْ إِنِّي أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أكون أول من أسلم﴾ يَعْنِي: من أمته.
