"And if you could see when they are made to stand before their Lord; He will say: 'Is this not the truth?'" which you used to deny when you were in the world. "They will say: 'Yes, by our Lord.'" So they believed at a time when faith did not benefit them.
﴿وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذْ وُقِفُوا عَلَى رَبِّهِمْ قَالَ أَلَيْسَ هَذَا بِالْحَقِّ﴾ الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِهِ إِذْ أَنْتُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا ﴿قَالُوا بَلَى وربنا﴾ فَآمَنُوا حِينَ لَمْ يَنْفَعْهُمُ الْإِيمَانُ.
