'Say: If I had that which you seek to hasten'—meaning 'of Allah's punishment'—'the matter would have been decided between me and you,' meaning the Hour, so I would have brought the punishment upon you. 'And Allah is All-Knowing of the wrongdoers' in terms of meaning.
And He knows that you are wrongdoers, meaning: polytheists.
Surah al-An'am from verse (59) to verse (60).
﴿قُلْ لَوْ أَنَّ عِنْدِي مَا تَسْتَعْجِلُون بِهِ﴾ ﴿مِنْ عَذَابِ اللَّهِ﴾ (لَقُضِيَ الأَمْرُ بيني وَبَيْنكُم﴾ يَعْنِي: السَّاعَةَ، فَأَتَيْتُكُمْ بِالْعَذَابِ ﴿وَاللَّهُ أعلم بالظالمين﴾ الْمَعْنَى.
وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّكُمْ ظَالِمُونَ؛ أَي: مشركون.
سُورَة الْأَنْعَام من الْآيَة (٥٩) إِلَى الْآيَة (٦٠).
