"And with Him are the keys of the unseen"—meaning: the treasures of the unseen—"none knows them except Him"; He knows when the punishment will come to you; this is the interpretation of al-Hasan. ﴿وَعِنْده مفاتح الْغَيْب﴾ يَعْنِي: خَزَائِنُ الْغَيْبِ ﴿لَا يَعْلَمُهَا إِلَّا هُوَ﴾ يَعْلَمُ مَتَى يَأْتِيكُمُ الْعَذَابُ؛ هَذَا تَفْسِيرُ الْحَسَنِ ﴿وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ وَمَا تَسْقُطُ مِنْ وَرَقَةٍ إِلا يَعْلَمُهَا وَلا حَبَّةٍ فِي ظلمات الأَرْض﴾ [فِي جَوْفِ الْأَرْضِ] ﴿وَلا رَطْبٍ وَلا يَابِسٍ إِلا فِي كِتَابٍ مُبين﴾ ﴿بَين
