تفسير القرآن العزيز لابن أبي زمنين
مجلد 2 · صفحة 250١١١

الترجمة · EN

"And even if We had sent down the angels to them, and the dead had spoken to them, and We had gathered together all things before them," meaning: visibly. "they would not have believed." Al-Hasan said: This was when they said, 'Bring forth our dead to us so that we may ask them: is what you say the truth or is it false?' And due to their saying: 'Why have the angels not been sent down to us?' and their saying: 'Or you bring Allah and the angels before us.' He says: If We had done this for them [when they see it] visibly, "they would not have believed, unless Allah should will, but most of them are ignorant."
