"And the Day We gather them together," then We will say, "O company of jinn, you have acquired much from mankind," meaning: you have seduced and led astray many of them. "And their allies among mankind said," meaning: those from among mankind whom they led astray, "Our Lord, we benefited from one another, and we have reached our term which You appointed for us. He will say, 'The Fire is your dwelling place,'" your abode, "'wherein you will abide eternally, except as Allah wills. Indeed, your Lord is All-Wise, All-Knowing,'" All-Wise in His command, All-Knowing of His creation.
Muhammad said:
It has been narrated from Ibn Abbas that he said: This exception refers to the people of faith.
﴿وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا﴾ ثُمَّ نَقُولُ ﴿يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ قَدِ اسْتَكْثَرْتُمْ من الْإِنْس﴾ أَيْ: كَثُرَ مَنْ أَغْوَيْتُمْ وَأَضْلَلْتُمْ ﴿وَقَالَ أولياؤهم من الْإِنْس﴾ يَعْنِي: الَّذِينَ أَضَلُّوا مِنَ الْإِنْسِ ﴿رَبَّنَا اسْتَمْتَعَ بَعْضُنَا بِبَعْضٍ وَبَلَغْنَا أَجَلَنَا الَّذِي أَجَّلْتَ لَنَا قَالَ النَّار مثواكم﴾ مَنْزِلَكُمْ ﴿خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا إِلا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عليم﴾ حكيمٌ فِي أَمْرِهِ، عليمٌ بِخَلْقِهِ.
قَالَ محمدٌ:
جَاءَ عَنِ ابْن عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: هَذَا الِاسْتِثْنَاءُ لأهل الْإِيمَان.
