{And [moreover] this is My path, which is straight} — he means: Islam. {So follow it; and do not follow [other] ways} — meaning Judaism, Christianity, and whatever is outside the religion of Islam.
{This has He instructed you with that you may become righteous} — meaning: so that you may attain piety.
﴿وَأَن هَذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا﴾ يُرِيدُ: الْإِسْلَامَ ﴿فَاتَّبِعُوهُ وَلا تَتَّبِعُوا السبل﴾ الْيَهُودِيَّةَ وَالنَّصْرَانِيَّةَ، وَمَا كَانَ مِنْ غَيْرِ مِلَّةِ الْإِسْلَامِ.
﴿ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُمْ بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُون﴾ لكَي تتقوا
