{We will recompense those who turn away from Our signs} meaning: they turn away {with the worst of punishment}, meaning: the most severe of it.
﴿سَنَجْزِي الَّذِينَ يَصْدِفُونَ عَنْ آيَاتِنَا﴾ أَي: يصدون ﴿سوء الْعَذَاب﴾ أشده.
