"And We have established you upon the earth"—meaning: after those who have passed away—"and given you therein means of livelihood. Little are you grateful"—meaning: few of you believe.
Surat al-An'am from verse (11) to verse (18).
﴿وَلَقَد مكناكم فِي الأَرْض﴾ يَعْنِي: بَعْدَ الْمَاضِينَ ﴿قَلِيلا مَا تشكرون﴾ أقلكم من يُؤمن.
