"And for you upon the earth is a place of settlement," meaning: where you will reside. "And provision," meaning: the provision of this world which you will enjoy, "for a time," until death.
﴿وَلكم فِي الأَرْض مُسْتَقر﴾ تَكُونُونَ فِيهَا. ﴿ومتاع﴾ يَعْنِي: مَتَاعَ الدُّنْيَا تَسْتَمْتِعُونَ بِهِ ﴿إِلَى حِين﴾ إِلَى الْمَوْت.
