[He] said: 'There has already fallen upon you from your Lord wrath,' meaning: punishment.
'So wait, indeed I am with you among those who wait,' meaning: that the punishment of Allah is descending upon you.
﴿قَالَ قَدْ وَقَعَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ ربكُم رجسٌ﴾ أَيْ: عَذَابٌ.
﴿فَانْتَظِرُوا إِنِّي مَعَكُمْ من المنتظرين﴾ أَيْ: أَنَّ عَذَابَ اللَّهِ نازلٌ بكم.
