"Until a term which they have reached," meaning: until the day Allah drowned them in the sea, "when they violate [their promise]."
﴿إِلَى أجل هم بالغوه﴾ إِلَى يَوْمِ غَرَّقَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي الْيَمِّ ﴿إِذَا هُمْ يَنْكُثُونَ﴾.
