"And leave those who deviate in His names"—meaning: those who incline; so they named a deity 'Al-Lat' in place of Allah, and 'Al-'Uzza' in place of Al-'Aziz (The Almighty).

"And leave" in this context is abrogated; it was abrogated by the command to fight.
