"[Just as your Lord brought you out of your home in truth]," he says: He brought you out from Mecca to Medina, and from Medina to the fighting of the people of Badr.
"[And indeed, a party among the believers were reluctant. They disputed with you concerning the truth]," meaning: concerning the fighting; and the meaning of their dispute is that they wanted the caravan, while the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) wanted the armed force (Dhat al-Shawka). This is the interpretation of al-Hasan.
﴿كَمَا أَخْرَجَكَ رَبُّكَ مِنْ بَيْتِكَ بِالْحَقِّ﴾ يَقُولُ: أَخْرَجَكَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ، وَمِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ إِلَى قِتَالِ أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ.
﴿وَإِنَّ فَرِيقًا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لَكَارِهُونَ يُجَادِلُونَكَ فِي الْحَقِّ﴾ يَعْنِي: فِي الْقِتَالِ؛ وَمَعْنَى مُجَادَلَتِهِمْ: أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُرِيدُونَ الْعِيرَ، وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ يُرِيدُ ذَاتَ الشَّوْكَةِ؛ هَذَا تَفْسِير الْحسن
