"Then wait until Allah executes His command." Mujahid said: This means the conquest of Makkah.
"And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people," meaning the polytheists who die in their state of shirk (polytheism).
Surah At-Tawbah from verse (25) to verse (27).
﴿فَتَرَبَّصُوا حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ اللَّهُ بِأَمْرِهِ﴾ قَالَ مُجَاهِدٌ: يَعْنِي: فَتْحَ مَكَّةَ.
﴿وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ﴾ الْمُشْرِكِينَ الَّذِينَ يَمُوتُونَ عَلَى شَرْكِهِمْ.
سُورَة التَّوْبَة من الْآيَة (٢٥) إِلَى الْآيَة (٢٧).
