"They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths," meaning: what they call to of Judaism and Christianity, and what they have distorted of the Book of Allah, may He be glorified and exalted.
﴿يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يُطْفِئُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بأفواههم﴾ يَعْنِي: مَا يَدَّعُونَ إِلَيْهِ مِنَ الْيَهُودِيَّةِ وَالنَّصْرَانِيَّةِ، وَمَا حَرَّفُوا مِنْ كتاب الله ﷿
