"(The) repentant" who have repented from polytheism. "(The) worshippers" who worship Allah, sincere to Him. "(The) praisers" who praise Allah in every state.
"(The) travelers" (as-sa'ihun), they are the observers of fasting.
Muhammad said: The traveler (sa'ih) in his origin is: one who goes about in the land. And whoever travels abstains from desires, so he likened the fasting person to him, due to his abstaining from food, drink, and sexual intercourse.
"(The) bowers, the prostraters," he says: they are the people of prayer.
Surat at-Tawbah from verse (113) to verse (116).
﴿التائبون﴾ تَابُوا من الشّرك ﴿العابدون﴾ عَبَدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ﴿الْحَامِدُونَ﴾ يَحْمَدُونَ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ.
﴿السائحون﴾ هُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ.
قَالَ محمدٌ: السَّائِحُ أَصْلُهُ: الذَّاهِبُ فِي الأَرْضِ، وَمَنْ سَاحَ امْتَنَعَ مِنَ الشَّهَوَاتِ، فَشَبَّهَ الصَّائِمَ بِهِ؛ لإِمْسَاكِهِ عَنِ الطَّعَامِ وَالشرَاب وَالنِّكَاح.
﴿الراكعون الساجدون﴾ يَقُول: هم أهل الصَّلَاة.
