"But they denied him, so We saved him and those who were with him in the ship," meaning: in the ark, "and We made them successors in the land," after those who were destroyed.
﴿فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَمَنْ مَعَهُ فِي الْفلك﴾ فِي السَّفِينَة ﴿وجعلناهم خلائف فِي الأَرْض﴾ بعد الهالكين.
