"Then We will save Our messengers and those who have believed" [Yunus: 103]. He says: We were, when We destroyed a people, to save the Prophet and the believers; [such is] the rest of the verse.
﴿ثُمَّ نُنَجِّي رُسُلَنَا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا﴾ يَقُولُ: كُنَّا إِذَا أَهْلَكْنَا قَوْمًا أنجينا النَّبِي وَالْمُؤمنِينَ، الْآيَة.
