"He said: O my people, worship Allah" (Qur'an 11:50) - meaning, acknowledge the oneness of Allah. "You have no god other than Him; you are but fabricators [of lies]" (Qur'an 11:50). Anyone who worships other than Allah—Glory be to Him—has fabricated a lie against Allah—the Exalted—because Allah, Majestic is His Remembrance, commanded His servants to worship Him and not associate anything with Him.
Muhammad says: 'Ghayruhu' (other than Him) is in the nominative case (marfu'), carrying the meaning: 'You have no god other than Him'.
﴿فَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ﴾ وَحِّدُوا اللَّهَ ﴿مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ إِلَهٍ غَيْرُهُ إِنْ أَنْتُمْ إِلا مفترون﴾ كُلُّ مَنْ عَبْدَ غَيْرَ اللَّهِ - سُبْحَانَهُ - فَقَدِ افْتَرَى الْكَذِبَ عَلَى اللَّهِ - تَعَالَى - لأَنَّ اللَّهَ ﷿ أَمَرَ الْعِبَادَ أَنْ يَعْبُدُوهُ وَلا يُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا.
قَالَ محمدٌ: (غَيْرُهُ) مرفوعٌ عَلَى مَعْنَى: مَا لكم إِلَه غَيره.
