[Wa la tahzan 'alayhim] (And do not grieve over them) if they do not believe, [wa la takun fi dayqin mimma yamkurun] (and do not be in distress over what they conspire), meaning: do not let your affair be constrained by what they plot against you and your religion, for Allah will surely grant you victory over them and humiliate them before you.
Muhammad said: Most of the recitations read: (fi dayqin) with a fathah on the dad.
Surah an-Naml from (verse 71 to verse 81).
﴿وَلَا تحزن عَلَيْهِم﴾ إِنْ لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا ﴿وَلا تَكُنْ فِي ضيق مِمَّا يمكرون﴾ أَيْ: لَا يَضِيقُ عَلَيْكَ أَمْرُكَ بِمَا يَمْكُرُونَ بِكَ وَبِدِينِكَ؛ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ سَيَنْصُرُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَيُذِلُّهُمْ لَكَ.
قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: أَكْثَرُ الْقِرَاءَةِ: (فِي ضيق) بِفَتْح الضَّاد.
سُورَة النَّمْل من (آيَة ٧١ آيَة ٨١).
