[And indeed, your Lord knows what their hearts conceal], meaning: the polytheists, regarding their enmity toward the Messenger of Allah, [and what they reveal], of disbelief.
﴿وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورهمْ﴾ يَعْنِي: الْمُشْرِكِينَ مِنْ عَدَاوَةِ رَسُولِ الله ﴿وَمَا يعلنون﴾ من الْكفْر.
