"And when he reached his full strength," Mujahid's interpretation: he reached twenty years of age. "And reached his maturity," he reached forty years of age. "We gave him judgment and knowledge."
﴿وَلما بلغ أشده﴾ تَفْسِيرُ مُجَاهِدٍ: بَلَغَ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً ﴿واستوى﴾ بَلَغَ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً ﴿آتَيْنَاهُ حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا﴾.
