‘Then We caused him to sink’—meaning Qārūn—‘and his dwelling’—meaning his residence; and he is caused to sink into it, a stature every day until the Day of Resurrection, according to the interpretation of Qatādah.
﴿فَخَسَفْنَا بِهِ﴾ بقارون ﴿وَبِدَارِهِ﴾ يَعْنِي: مَسْكَنَهُ، فَهُوَ يُخْسَفُ بِهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ قَامَةً إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَة؛ فِي تَفْسِير قَتَادَة
