"And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah," by worshipping idols instead of Him. "Or denies the truth," meaning the Quran, "when it has come to him," meaning: there is no one more unjust than him. "Is there not in Hell a dwelling," meaning a residence, "for the disbelievers," meaning: Yes, there is a dwelling for them therein.
﴿وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى الله كذبا﴾ فَعَبَدَ الْأَوْثَانَ دُونَهُ ﴿أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِالْحَقِّ﴾ بِالْقُرْآنِ ﴿لما جَاءَهُ﴾ أَي: لَا أحد أظلم مِنْهُ ﴿أَلَيْسَ فِي جَهَنَّم مثوى﴾ أَي: منزل ﴿للْكَافِرِينَ﴾ أَيْ: بَلَى فِيهَا مَثْوًى لَهُمْ
