(And if they strive to make you join in worship with Me others of which you have no knowledge), meaning: they want you to (join in worship with Me others of which you have no knowledge), meaning that you do not know that I have a partner; it means the believer. (But obey them not, and behave with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who turns to Me), the path of him who has come to Me with his heart, sincerely.
﴿وَإِن جَاهَدَاك﴾ يَعْنِي: أَرَادَاكَ ﴿عَلَى أَنْ تُشْرِكَ بِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ علم﴾ أَيْ أَنَّكَ لَا تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ لِي شَرِيكًا؛ يَعْنِي: الْمُؤْمِنَ ﴿فَلا تُطِعْهُمَا وَصَاحِبْهُمَا فِي الدُّنْيَا مَعْرُوفًا وَاتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ مَنْ أَنَابَ إِلَيَّ﴾ طَرِيقَ مَنْ أَقْبَلَ إِلَيَّ بِقَلْبِهِ مخلصا
